The Datsun 1600 Roadster debuted in 1964-1965 and shared many mechanical features with the Datsun Bluebird.
Eventually, it evolved into the Fairlady Roadster. Designed to compete with British built sports cars such as the MGB and the Triumph TR6. Could be considered the beginning of Nissan's sports car legacy. 23,609 units were sold and this featured vehicle has been part of the Heritage Collection since it was new.
